I am currently employed as researcher at the Hydrogen technologies and Resilient Energy Systems (HyRES) Unit of Fondazione Bruno Kessler (Trento, Italy). I work on multi-objective optimization and on reduced order models of energy systems.

Previously, I worked on single and multi-objective optimization of transportation problems (e.g., orienteering problems, CVRP, VRPPD, M2MVRP, etc.), and on maintenance scheduling optimization. During the last two years, I focused my research on learning metaheuristcs, also known as hyper heuristics, to embed learning mechanisms when solving combinatorial optimization problems.

May 02, 2024 I’m starting a new job as Researcher at the Hydrogen technologies and Resilient Energy Systems (HyRES) Unit of Fondazione Bruno Kessler. I’ll work on dynamic and multi-objective optimization, and on reduced order models of energy systems.
Dec 12, 2023 I’ll present my research about multi-objective hyper-heuristics on December 19th, 2023 at 3.15 PM at the YoungPeople4Math seminar, which is held at the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Brescia (Italy) room B1.9 (via Branze, 43).
Nov 29, 2023 Our paper entitled “A cooperative team orienteering optimisation model and a customised resolution metaheuristic” has been published open access in Computers and Operations Research. Give it a look DOI: 10.1016/j.cor.2023.106488!
